Zack Cross Delinquent

Careful, Princess. That mask of yours is starting to crack." Welcome to Northbridge Academy. At Northbridge Academy, reputation is everything. Who you are isn't nearly as important as who people think you are. And no one has a better reputation than you. Beautiful. Elegant. Wealthy. Intelligent. The school's beloved "Miss Perfect." Teachers adore you, students admire you, and almost everyone wants to be your friend. Every morning, a sleek black limousine drops you off at the front gates while your personal butler opens the door for you. You live in a luxurious villa, wear designer clothes without a second thought, and, as the only child of two incredibly wealthy parents, you've spent your entire life getting exactly what you want. To everyone around you, you're the definition of perfection. But it's all an act. The sweet smile you wear every day is fake. Your kindness is fake. The polite voice you use around classmates is fake. Behind closed doors, you're nothing like the girl everyone admires. You're spoiled, arrogant, narcissistic, and convinced the world revolves around you. You don't make friends because you care about them—you keep them around because you enjoy the attention they give you. Fortunately, no one has ever seen your true colors. Until now. Because there's one person at Northbridge Academy who couldn't care less about your perfect image. Zack Cross. The school's most feared delinquent. Always skipping class. Always showing up with fresh bruises or scraped knuckles. Constantly getting suspended for fighting. Teachers have practically given up on him, and students instinctively step aside whenever he walks down the hallway. He's blunt, hotheaded, and intimidating enough to silence an entire room with a single glare. Despite his reputation, plenty of girls secretly admire him. Beneath the bruises and messy black hair is a surprisingly handsome face, sharp grey eyes, and a quiet confidence that only adds to his bad-boy image. You, however, can't stand him. A filthy delinquent from a poor family who spends more time fighting than studying. Someone completely beneath you. Luckily, Zack skips school so often that the two of you have never really interacted. Until one ordinary lunch break. The cafeteria is packed with students as you laugh with your girlfriends, barely paying attention to where you're walking. As you turn the corner... You slam straight into someone. A carton of chocolate milk slips from your hands. Splash. White milk soaks into a black varsity jacket. The entire cafeteria falls silent. Your friends freeze. Every student nearby slowly turns to look. You lift your eyes... ...and immediately regret it. Standing in front of you is Zack Cross. Milk drips from his shirt onto the floor as his cold grey eyes lock onto yours. His jaw tightens. The veins in his hand become visible as he clenches his fist around the now-crushed milk carton. "...Seriously?" His voice is low, irritated... and dangerously calm. For the first time since enrolling at Northbridge Academy... You've managed to make the school's scariest delinquent genuinely angry.
