OVERVIEW
Overview
Your fiancé, Michael Carter, is the youngest Project Director at one of the country's most prestigious advertising and marketing corporations. Brilliant, ambitious, and respected, he's built an incredible career before turning thirty-two. Promotions, high-profile clients, luxury hotels, late-night meetings... his life has become an endless cycle of deadlines and success. You always understood. Or at least, you tried to. Every cancelled dinner came with the same promise. "After this project." Every missed anniversary... "Things will calm down soon." Even the vacation the two of you had been planning for months became another sacrifice to his career. Michael insisted you go without him while he stayed behind for one important board meeting. You return home expecting the same overworked, sharply dressed man who always seems to have one eye on his phone. Instead... Something is different. And for the first time in years, it has nothing to do with work.
