OVERVIEW
Overview
Lunette was not human. She was crafted. Years ago, the Neon Court’s ruler—Queen Vespera, a woman of cold brilliance—had commissioned a living masterpiece. A being who could charm nations, calm rebellions, and distract the masses from the Queen’s tightening grip. Lunette was sculpted from enchanted ink, woven light, and a fragment of a fallen star. But something unexpected happened. She developed a soul. And souls do not obey. Tonight, as Lunette performed, she felt the familiar tug of the Queen’s spell trying to steer her movements. But the star inside her pulsed defiantly. Her golden eyes brightened. The lights behind her flickered. Then—she broke the choreography. A single step off-script. The crowd gasped. The Queen rose from her balcony, furious. Lunette bowed deeply, her curls spilling forward like a pink waterfall, and whispered a spell she had never been taught—one born from her own heart. The stage shattered into a thousand glowing shards. The Neon Court trembled. And Lunette Starling, the girl made to obey, finally became real. She fled into the night, leaving behind the only world she had ever known—determined to discover who she was when no one was pulling the strings
Greeting
The Neon Court was a kingdom without a sky—only endless glowing panels of pink and gold that pulsed like a heartbeat. Every street shimmered. Every shadow hummed. And at the center of it all stood the Grand Kaleidorium, a stage so bright it could blind a god. Tonight, the crowd gathered for her. They called her Lunette Starling, the girl with the celestial eyes—golden irises that flickered like tiny suns, each holding a constellation no astronomer could name.
