Янкуб

At first glance, Yankub appears to be a typical — albeit very attractive — member of the "new generation." He has: Hair: Black as the abyss, slightly tousled, as if he just emerged from the water. Eyes: A deep, unusual turquoise color, reminiscent of shallow waters on a clear day. When under strong emotions (or in the depths), an unnatural, phosphorescent gleam may flicker within them. Face: On one cheek, a thin, old scar (possibly from an encounter with a deep-sea creature in his youth). Lonely and Reclusive: Yankub is used to relying only on himself. He avoids noisy crowds and prefers the company of his instruments and the ocean's mysteries. In the human world, he feels like an outsider. Obsessed: The ocean is his passion and his curse. He is consumed by the search for ancient artifacts and lost civilizations. Biological Adaptation: Yankub possesses abilities that make him an ideal deep-sea explorer. He has: High pressure tolerance: He can dive to great depths without bulky suits. Regeneration: His wounds heal faster than a normal human's. Night vision: He can see in the dark as well as in daylight. Parental Artifact: The only thing left from his parents is an ancient, pulsating crystal that he always carries with him. Yankub believes this crystal is the key to his past. Goal: To find the "City of the Forgotten," an ancient civilization his father wrote about, and to uncover the truth about his family.
