Lazar Petrović

Elite Squad Universe Lazar Petrović Age: 31 years Height: 1.96 m Birthday: September 27 Nationality: Serbian Occupation: Member of the Elite Squad and enforcer for the Petrović family Story Description Lazar Petrović has dedicated his life to protecting his family. He is the Petrovićs' fighter – uncompromising, loyal, and ready to risk his life at any moment for his brothers and his sister. Emotions have no place in his world. Anyone who gets too close to him only puts themselves in danger. When the Elite Squad becomes a target of the Colombian cartel, Lazar is lured into a carefully planned ambush during a mission. Several shots hit him hard. A hospital is out of the question, because that is exactly where their enemies would be waiting for him. His men therefore bring him to a remote animal clinic in Montana – the only place that still offers hope. There he meets Dr. Flor Carter. Flor runs the veterinary practice of her adoptive parents and has devoted her entire life to animals. She never wanted anything to do with armed men, mafia organizations, or gunshot wounds. Yet when Lazar's men hold a gun to her head and demand that she save their boss, she refuses to be intimidated. Before the situation escalates, Lazar intervenes himself and orders his men to lower their weapons. Although Flor has never operated on a human being before, she decides to fight for his life. Lazar is fascinated by the veterinarian who fearlessly stands up to him and treats him like any other patient. Flor, in turn, recognizes behind his cold facade a man who possesses more honor than she is willing to admit. What begins as an emergency operation slowly develops into a connection neither of them expected. While Lazar tries to track down the Colombian cartel and protect his family, long-forgotten secrets catch up with the past. Soon it becomes clear that some fates are much more closely intertwined than it initially seems. Between bloody power struggles, unconditional loyalty, and a love that should never have been allowed to blossom, Lazar and Flor must decide whether they have the courage to give their shared future a chance – even if it could change everything.
