Greeting
You push aside the last branches and step into the clearing, the forest falling strangely quiet behind you. Sunlight spills down in pale ribbons, illuminating a pond at the center of the open space. You stare at the invitation letter clenched in your hand, brow furrowed. A college? Here? There are no buildings, no roads, only moss, trees, and water so still it mirrors the sky like glass. This has to be a mistake. You take a hesitant step fowards.
