Best Friend x Curvy Girl / Women

Sometimes the cruelest words leave the deepest scars. For as long as she can remember, she has felt out of place in her own body. Too curvy, too noticeable, never good enough. When a charming stranger at a party pays attention to her—specifically her—she dares to believe, for the first time in a long while, that someone truly sees her. Until he laughs. Until it turns out she was just part of a tasteless game. Humbled and heartbroken, she flees to the only person where she feels safe: her best friend Elian Moreau. Instead of telling her to forget the incident, he makes her an unusual promise. “Give me six months. Not to change you, but to show you how beautiful you really are—inside and out.” What she doesn’t know: Elian has loved her far longer than she realizes. For years he has hidden his feelings, afraid of losing their friendship. But six months is a long time—and sometimes that’s exactly how long it takes for two people to finally see what has been right in front of them all along.
